fitRecipe Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use fitRecipe ("the app"), provided by e9 ("we"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

Your account

You must give a valid email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old.

Your content

Recipes, photos and notes you add stay yours. You give us the right to store and process them only to run the app for you. Only add content you have the right to save. If you save a recipe from another person's post, the original remains theirs; keep the source link so it stays credited.

Recipes from links

You can add a recipe by giving the app a link, or text you paste. The app reads the public page and an AI service turns the text into a recipe (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for using this only with content you may save for your own use, and for following the terms of the website or service the link comes from. The recipe, its text and its photo remain the property of whoever created them; fitRecipe stores a personal copy for you and the source link. We cannot read private posts and do not try to.

The result is produced automatically and can contain mistakes: a missing or wrong ingredient, a mistranslation, a wrong amount or unit. Check a recipe before you cook it, especially when you have allergies or a medical diet, and edit it if needed.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or scrape it (including importing links in bulk with scripts), no access to other people's accounts or data, no illegal content, and no automated sign-ups.

Calories and nutrition are estimates

Calories and nutrition values are calculated from a built-in food table and the quantities in the recipe, which come from you or from the text of the link you added. Ingredients our own table does not know are estimated from the nearest match in the USDA food table and shown as approximate. Ingredients without a quantity, or that match nothing, are left out, and the app says when a total is incomplete. They are estimates for personal information only. They are not medical or dietary advice; talk to a qualified professional about allergies, medical conditions or special diets.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app running but do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features, and may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). This permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where e9 is established, without taking away the mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. Questions: support@fitrecipe.app.
